Hasan Riza Calligraphy Muraqqa

$18.00

Continuing with the tradition of teklid studies , this beautiful folio of Hadith is the great calligrapher Hasan Riza’s (d.1920) interpretation of a work by his teacher Kaziasker Mustafa Izzet, (d.1876) the most influential calligrapher of the high Ottoman period. Hasan Riza is considered one of the last of the great masters and laid the foundation for all 20th century calligraphy.
